Sun Plastech Inc. (Parsippany, NJ), the manufacturer of the leading purging compound Asaclean®, is pleased to announce that 2015 marks 25th anniversary ofAsaclean® purging compound. Developed by R&D of its parent company, Asahi Kasei Chemicals, Asaclean® has become the leading brand of purging compound and it’s sold in over 60 countries around the world.

When Asaclean® was first introduced in Japan in 1990, it was awarded Plastics Grand Prize by The Plastics Times as an innovative product. Initially, Asaclean® was used to facilitate faster color and material changes with less material. As a grade lineup has expanded, Asaclean®’s ability to provide solutions to various purging issues has also expanded to removal and prevention of contamination. It helps reduce scrap rate and machine downtime.
